The task force on Bank Valuations paid a courtesy to the Governor of the Central Bank of Kenya, Dr. Patrick Njoroge on Thursday 28thJuly 2016. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the various concerns with regard the bank valuations. The task force presented the following concerns; Non-adherence of Valuation Standards by the banks, listing of panels of Valuers, integrity issues and forgery of Valuation reports, validity period for valuation reports, professional fees and handling of professional misconduct by Valuers. The meeting agreed on the issues of mutual concern that both institutions would further engage to resolve them.
