Nairobi, January 6/2017…Members of the Institution of Surveyors of Kenya will benefit from discounted insurance rates offered by leading diversified financial services group Britam.

The two companies have signed a new partnership that will see members of the Institution access motor private, motor commercial, professional indemnity and domestic insurance covers at discounted rates of up to 10 percent

The deal signed between the two organizations will also see members of the Institution get other discounted rates on Britam’s products across the various business lines in insurance, asset Management and property.

“Britam, with its expansive range of products across its various business lines in Insurance, Asset Management and property is well positioned to add value along the supply chain to members of the Institution by offering them very competitive rates,” said Stephen Wandera, Britam Group Principal Executive Director.

Mr. Wandera said that Britam was constantly innovating to come up with products that fit the needs of the customers in line with its new 2016/ 2020 strategy.

Speaking during the signing of the Service Level Agreement between the two institutions, Eunice Macharia, the ISK Deputy Chair noted that the arrangement was in line with the current ISK strategic plan that seeks to improve the welfare of members through partnerships with service providers. She encouraged the members of the institution to take full advantage of the products offered under the arrangements to improve on their operations and pass on the cost savings to their customers.
