Members during a professional talk at the Masdar City in Abu Dhabi
ISK held its first international tour for members for one week from 9th – 14th October 2016.More than 40 members where in attendance for this inaugural tour.
The members got the opportunity to visit Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building which was developed with high tech architectural standards. The ISK members also visited the Nakheel offices one of the world’s leading developers who spearhead several projects in Dubai. During the visit members where briefed on their current projects and the technology used to reclaim land from the ocean, sewage and water treatment technology among others.

To get a feel of reclaimed land, members got the opportunity to also travel by private boat to The World Development Project to see the ongoing progress firsthand. The educational tour exposed them further to world architectural designs used to build the Jumeirah Mosque, the second biggest mosque in the world and a spectacular example of modern Islamic architecture.
Members also visited the Ferrari world, an amusement park located on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. It is the first and only Ferrari-branded theme park and has the record for the largest space frame structure ever built.
Besides the professional talk members got the opportunity to tour the capital city of Abu Dubai and Dubai city and explored the 24hour economy.
