ISK Council Pays Machakos County a Courtesy Call


ISK members enjoy lunch at a Machakos hotel hosted by the Chairman after the courtesy call

The ISK Chairman applauded the Governor for his efforts on the “Maendeleo Chap Chap” initiatives which was directly transforming the lives of Machakos residents and residents bordering the City County.

“We are happy to report that your residents at areas bordering the County are satisfied with the county services compared to those in the neighbouring counties but there is a need for a county master plan to guide on development”, Wambua Said.

A memorandum was shared by the ISK Chairman on possible areas of development  among them surveying and mapping ,legislation on surveyors by county governments and capacity building for county land officers and members of the county land managemet board among others.

The meeting was attended by the Chairman to the Land Board Mr. Robert Nzioki,The County  Planner, Mr. Karuru Chege,The District Surveyor Mr. Simon Maina,The land Administration Surveyor Mr Simon Chebii and the County Land Board Secretary George Saruni.More on the memorandum on link

Later on the ISK hosted a lunch for the ISK members  based in Machakos.
