The workshop is scheduled to take place at The Regional Centre for Mapping of Resources for Development (RCMRD), Nairobi City on 27th and 28th April, 2023 from 8.00 am to 4.00 pm daily.

The aim of this workshop is to provide a platform for professionals in the surveying and mapping field to come together and discuss the latest emerging trends and future prospects in the industry. The workshop will feature renowned speakers who will share their experiences and knowledge, as well as provide insights on the latest developments in the field.

The Institution of Surveyors of Kenya (ISK) is a professional body that brings together professionals in the Land and Real Estate Sector.  The professionals fall within eight major disciplines of the surveying profession namely the Valuation, Registered Estate Agents, Property Management; Land Surveying; Building Surveying and Land Administration Management; Engineering Surveying and Geospatial Information Management Surveyors.

The Regional Centre for Mapping of Resources for Development (RCMRD) is an intergovernmental organization with contracting Member States in the Eastern and Southern Africa Regions. It provides geo-information and allied technologies for sustainable development in the member States and other stakeholders. It strengthens the member States and the stakeholders’ capacity through Generation, Application and Dissemination of Geo-information and Allied Technologies for sustainable development.
