ADMISSION OF MEMBERS
Eligible candidates will complete an application form, sign a declaration and submit the same together with the requisite fees through the Chief Executive Officer, who will in turn forward the application to the relevant Chapter for vetting and consideration.
Save for Technician and Student members, all candidates shall be proposed for admission to membership by two Full Members of the Chapter which they propose to join.
In the event that a candidate is unable to find the requisite proposers, the Chair and Secretary of the Chapter concerned may, in their discretion, submit the application to the Council for consideration.
The Council reserves the right to approve or reject an application for membership. Successful applicants will be notified by the Chief Executive Officer.
RE-ADMISSION TO MEMBERSHIP
A person who ceases to be a member of the Institution may be re-admitted and shall be charged a re-admission fee as determined by the Council from time to time, provided that re-admission shall not be automatic but shall be subject to approval by the Council.
